Waldorf Pitas

1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
1/2 green apple, cored & diced
1/2 red apple, cored & diced
1/2 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 rib celery, sliced
1/4 cup seedless red grapes, chopped
3 tbsp dried cranberries
3 pitas
Combine fruit in small bowl.
Pour lemon juice over fruit, toss.
Pour yogurt over fruit, stir to combine.
Divide fruit mixture among pitas.
3 servings.

Popeye Smoothie

1 banana, cut in chunks
1 cup green grapes
1 cup vanilla yogurt
1/2 apple, cored and chopped
1 1/2 cups fresh spinach leaves
Place all ingredients in blender container.
Blend until smooth.

Golden Fruit Salad

1 Golden Delicious apple
1 Red Delicious apple
1 banana
1/2 cup seedless red grapes
1 1/2 cups vanilla yogurt
3 tablespoons orange juice
Cut fruits into bite-sized pieces.
Combine yogurt & orange juice in a small bowl; pour over fruit.
4-6 servings.

Assorted Fruits (Bananas, melon cubes, grapes and cherries work well)
Let your child decorate a plate or a dish of cottage cheese or yogurt with a fruit face. Halved grapes or cherries for eyes, melon cube nose, banana smile…etc

Fruit Salad

This is one very easy way to use up whatever ripe fruit you have on hand. Just cut 3 or more fruits into bite sized pieces, mix together, and chill overnight so the flavors can “merge”. Try: bananas, strawberries, oranges, peaches, melon, blueberries, kiwi, grapes, etc. My kids love it.

Fruit Kabobs

1 apple, cubed
1 banana, sliced
1/3 cup red seedless grapes
1/3 cup green seedless grapes
2/3 cup pineapple chunks
1 cup plain yogurt
1/4 cup shredded coconut 
*4 wooden skewers
Let children:
Slide pieces of fruit onto the skewers.
Roll each kabob in the yogurt
Then roll in the coconut.
4 Servings
*Watch out for the skewers with younger children!
