Peanut Butter Crispy Squares Recipe

**This recipe is rather sugary. It might work well as an occasional sweet treat.

½ cup milk chocolate chips
½ cup peanut butter
10 oz bag mini marshmallows
6 cups crispy rice cereal

Put rice cereal in a large mixing bowl; set aside.
Microwave chocolate chips until melted (1-2 minutes), stir.
Add peanut butter & microwave until smooth (1-2 minutes), stir.
Add marshmallows and stir until melted. (Put back in microwave if necessary).
Carefully pour melted mixture over cereal and mix gently until coated.
Spray a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan with cooking spray.
Pour mixture into serving pan and press down firmly; cool.
Cut into crispy squares before serving.
12 servings.

    what is this cooking spray?? and Is this a must ingredient???

    Canola oil, or another preferred type of cooking oil, could be used instead.

    how long do these take to set?

    Not long! By the time they cool, they should be firm. If not, pop the pan into the refrigerator for a few minutes.
