1 cup mixed berries
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup applesauce
1/2 cup apple juice
2 envelopes gelatin
Heat berries and water in small saucepan until boiling.
Cook about 5 minutes, or until berries are soft.
Pour into blender, puree until smooth.
Return berries to pot, add applesauce, return to a boil.
Immediately remove from heat, cover and set aside.
In large bowl, sprinkle gelatin over fruit juice and let stand one minute.
Add hot fruit mixture, stir 3-5 minutes until gelatin completely dissolves.
Pour mixture into 8 x 8 inch glass or ceramic baking dish.
Refrigerate about three hours until firm.
Cut into blocks or shapes.
